On Sunday November 13th, His Majesty King Abdullah gave the Speech from the Throne and opened the second regular session of the 19th Parliament.

Attended by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Prince Hashem were present for the address, and King Abdullah stated that "State institutions must redefine national achievement so that its outcomes are tangible for residents. Regression or hesitancy in achieving these goals will not be tolerated.

In his remarks to the senators and representatives, His Majesty stated that Jordan has achieved great strides in laying the firm foundations for modernizing the country and strengthening its resilience.

In his remarks to the senators and representatives, His Majesty stated that Jordan has achieved great strides in laying the firm foundations for modernizing the country and strengthening its resilience.

"This country was not founded by cynics or pessimists. It developed and advanced thanks to the efforts of its sons and daughters who had faith in it, the King said.

His Majesty emphasized that efforts made at the national level are intended to benefit both current and future generations while also achieving the goals and aspirations of all Jordanians.

The King emphasized that comprehensive modernization, with its political, economic, and administrative tracks, is a significant national enterprise and that national goals must be centered around it.

Governments must carry out the Economic Modernization Vision, according to His Majesty, since it is a crucial indicator of their performance and dedication in front of Parliament.

The King emphasized that without a capable public administration, political and economic modernization would be incomplete. He also noted that this country was built on the values of justice and national dignity and that it will continue to modernize under the rule of law.

The new Jordan, according to His Majesty, is led by its young people, who have boundless aspirations and unwavering resolve. He added that the nation must make the most of its advantageous geopolitical position by forming extensive regional and Arab alliances that advance shared goals and maximize individual countries' gains.

The King emphasized that "the lack of a horizon for a political solution must not prohibit us from assisting our Palestinian brothers and sisters economically, reinforcing their resilience on their land" in regards to the Palestinian struggle.

His Majesty saluted the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Arab Army, and the security forces and remarked, "We stand with you all as one in service of our proud and strong Jordan."

A formal ceremony was held earlier to mark the King and Crown Prince Al Hussein's entry into Parliament.

The leaders of the three authorities, along with a number of senior officers and officials, greeted His Majesty.

The address was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, other members of the Royal family, prominent officials and officers, as well as Jordanian diplomats from the Arab and foreign embassies.

Members of the royal family who attended were Their Royal Highnesses: Princess Muna, Prince Talal and Princess Ghida, Prince Rashid, Prince Mired, Prince Raad, Princess Sumaya, Princess Rahma and her husband Alaa Bayatech, Princess Majda, Princess Aisha and Princess Alia bint al Hussein.
