I was to write this post last year after Her Majesty's last event but I had lots of events throughout the last days of 2022.

Her Majesty wished every one a Happy New Year with the writings, “Happy New Year from our family to yours! May it be a peaceful and blessed one for our beloved country and for you all.

On the last day of the year, the Royal Hashemite court released an update announcing when HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah and Ms. Rajwa Khalid Alseif will be getting married, "The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that the wedding of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif will take place on 1 June 2023.

The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion, and wishes His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif a lifetime of happiness."
