Their Majesties in Japan.
Yesterday Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah left the United Kingdom following their daughter HRH Princess Salma's graduation from Sandhurst Academy accompanied by their two elders TRH Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Iman.
Earlier today, Their Majesties began their visit with a courtesy visit to Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
Both His Majesty King Abdullah and his host His Imperial Majesty Emperor Akihito during a sit down talks, affirmed the deep-rooted, historical friendship between the two countries, as well as keenness to expand cooperation in various areas. With His Majesty commending Japan on their continued support in Jordan's development as well as their humanitarian role in supporting refugees
The meeting was followed by a luncheon hosted by Their Imperial Majesties in Their Majesties’ honour. Their Majesties are accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Al Feisal(son to His Majesty's brother Prince Al Feisal bin Hussein).
After that Their Majesties met with future imperial sovereigns couple Their Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako.
Similar to the meeting with Their Imperial Majesties, the royals covered Jordanian-Japanese ties of friendship.
Following meeting the imperial royal family, His Majesty sat down for meeting both with public and private Japanese institution.
His Majesty met with members of Jordan-Japan Friendship Association, where representatives of major Japanese companies re-affirmed their keenness to expand their investments in Jordan in a number of vital sectors.
