Congratulations once again to the Hashemite Royal Family who are welcoming two new members in a few weeks or months.

As previously announce on the blog, the Court announced two engagements in the space of a month:

1) That of HRH Princess Iman bint Abdullah II with Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis which took place on July 5th at the Sovereign family's home in Amman.

    Who is Jameel Alexandre Thermiotis?

He was born in Caracas, Venezuela, to Alexandros Thermiotis and Corina Hernández in 1994, making him 28 years old today. He’s the eldest of three siblings; a girl, Alexia, and the other is a boy, Alejandros.

While growing up, he attended various private schools in Venezuela and attended college in the United States. Thermiotis graduated in 2015 with a specialisation in Business Administration and Business from Florida International University, which set him up for his future career in finance. He spearheaded a venture capital firm called Outbound Ventures LLC after graduation and is now a managing partner at a New York City venture capital firm.

He comes from a prominent Greek family that maintains a strong connection to their heritage with frequent trips to the Greek island of Andros.

According to reports, HRH and Jameel dated for 3 years before he popped the questions

2) That of HRH Crown Prince Hussein to Ms. Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif  which took place in the bride's family's home in Riyadh.

Who is Ms. Rawja bin Khaled?

According to Jordanian and Arab media, Ms. Rawja was born in the Al Saif family in Riyadh, on April 28th, 1994, to Mr. Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, and Mrs. Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Sudairi. She is the younger sister of three children: Faisal, Nayef, and Dana

She did her secondary education in Saudi Arabia, and her higher education at the College of Architecture at Syracuse University in New York, USA.

The Al Saif family are members of the Subai tribe, and they have been the sheikhs of the town of Al-Attar in Sudair, Najd, since the beginning of the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Today His Royal Highness and Ms. Rajwa thanked everyone for the well wishes in an Instagram post:

الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات.. أسأل الله عز وجل أن يوفقنا لما فيه خير، وأشكر الأسرة الأردنية الكبيرة التي لطالما كانت نِعم العون والسند, على الأمنيات الصادقة
