Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al Abdullah received top Tawjihi (General Secondary Education Certificate Examination) achievers for the 2022-2023 academic year on Tuesday at Al Husseiniya Palace.

King Abdullah and Queen Rania congratulated the students on their achievements and chatted with them about their aspirations to pursue higher education in a variety of academic and technical fields.

His Majesty praised students' perseverance and academic brilliance, encouraging them to seek degrees that both fulfil their dreams and meet labour market needs.

Students expressed delight in meeting Their Majesties, saying it gave them more motivation to succeed academically and professionally.

Due to the limited employability of various academic degrees, as well as the quickly changing needs of the local and regional labour markets, some students expressed an interest in pursuing professional and technical degrees.

The reception was attended by Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, Director of His Majesty's Office Jafar Hassan, and Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Azmi Mahafzah.
