Her Majesty was out and about today, May 4th to visit Income-Generating Project Owners at the Community Centers Association (CCA) in Amman to follow up on the progress of their small businesses.

The Queen had previously met the beneficiaries who run 100 small projects across Jordan virtually on October 28th, where she granted additional financial support to help them alleviate the pandemic’s impact on their initiatives.

The founder of the Community Center Association (CCA), Dr. Sari Nasser and its president, Dr. Firjal Saleh attended a where Her Majesty heard from the project owners about the progress of their businesses and the effect of last year’s grants on their performance. The owners explained how the additional funds created new opportunities for increased productivity, enhanced the quality of their products, and improved their marketing and packaging efforts.

The Queen confirmed that the impact of the pandemic has not spared anyone, but it has affected some people more than others.

The income-generating project was initially carried out by CCA with the support of the Royal Grants and Planning and International Cooperation Department, involving many professional fields such as agriculture, animal husbandry, handicrafts, sewing, construction, beauty care and services. Among other things.
