His Majesty King Abdullah II accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah arrived in Cairo International Airport on Thursday October 11th for a one day working visit to Egypt.

Their Majesties on arrival were welcome by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his spouse First Lady Mrs Entissar Amer El Sisi at the airport.


Upon arrival His Majesty and President El Sisi then reviewed the guards and listen to the playing of both countries' national anthem at Al Ittihadiya Presidential Palace.

The President and First Lady invited and hosted Their Majesties to a luncheon in their honour which was attended by both countries senior officials.

Later the couples separated with both Head of States taking part in bilateral discussions and engagements covering the brotherly and strategic ties between Jordan and Egypt, and the latest regional developments.

Her Majesty and First Lady Mrs. Entissar met privately for discussions and a tour of the Presidential palace
