Her Majesty Queen Rania is currently in the United States attending the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly with His Majesty King Abdullah and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

Earlier in the day, she was at the United Nations Head Quarters where she heard His Majesty addressed the General Assembly. In his speech to the World, His Majesty spoke about technology, the youth, globalization, climate change, the consequences of war and refugees, religious intorelance, hatred and many other things.

In his speech, His Majesty called the continuation of the Palestinian territory's occupation is a global moral tragedy

After which Her Majesty attended the final day of the 2019 Concordia Annual Summit hosted at Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.

Her Majesty was amongst World leaders who took to stage and addressed the attendees. She said "We are not on track to achieve the UN sustainable development goals by 2030. Every day, every hour, every minute that we lag behind in our efforts means more people will die preventable deaths".

She also spoke about the importance of self-reliance in developing countries notably in Jordan
