His Majesty King Abdullah II accompanied by his wife Her Majesty Queen Rania and their son HRH Crown Prince Hussein welcome Their Excellencies President Sergio Mattarella and his daughter First Lady Laura Mattarella of the Republic of Italy at Al Husseiniya Palace.


On arrival Their Majesties The King and the Queen led an official welcoming ceremony for the presidential couple upon their arrival at Al Husseiniya Palace. His Majesty and President Sergio Mattarella reviewed a guard of honor as a military band played the national anthem of both countries.

Bilateral meetings and discussions were tabled which was attended by Her Majesty, The First Lady and HRH the Crown Prince. Both leaders discussed means to forge closer cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the economic, tourism, development, military, security and information technology fields.

























After which Her Majesty hosted the first lady for private talks.
