Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania together with Crown Prince Hussein (who was on break from Sandhurst Military Academy) opened the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East and North Africa at the Dead Sea which is hosted in Amman, Jordan.

HRH Crown Prince Hussein delivered the keynote speech at the opening session of the event, which is organised by WEF in cooperation with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development. You can read his speech here.

This gathering brought together a thousand government, business and civil society leaders from more than 50 countries, with the aim of designing the future of the Middle East and North Africa through Public-private cooperation. Among the guest is friend to the couple His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain who arrived yesterday and was welcome by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
