On February 25th 2025, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Al Quwayrah District in Aqaba, where she met with women who own income-generating projects implemented by the Jordan River Foundation (JRF). 

The meeting was held at Al Quwayrah Youth Center, where she heard from beneficiaries of community empowerment projects that have created sustainable incomes for over 100 families in the area. Queen Rania commended the projects' owners, noting that these youth- and women-led small businesses were efforts to create new sources of income for local families and develop their communities. 

She also visited two small businesses, Um Enad and a print shop, and the Children's Mobile Museum.
