Her Majesty is a woman of many hats. From daughter, sister, wife, mother and queen, over the years she is adding more roles and positions to her active and busy schedules from her various patronages, charities and international foundations.

Local:
In Jordan, Her Majesty is patron, preisdent, sits on the board and co-founded a few initiatives. Here are a few:

Children's Musuem: A non-educational institution launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdallah in 2007. Her Majesty is the chairperson of the musuem

Jordan River Foundation: The Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1995 with a focus on child safety and community empowerment. Her Majesty is the Chairperson on the board.

Edraak: Is a massive open online course (MOOC) platform, that is an initiative of the Queen Rania Foundation (QRF). Her Majesty is one of its founding members

Queen Rania's Teacher Academy: The academy is an independent non-profit institution committed to advancing Her Majesty Queen Rania’s vision of empowering teachers, supervisors and principals with the skills, recognition, and support necessary to excel at both the classroom and school levels

Royal Health Awareness Society: The Royal Health Awareness Society is a Queen Rania's initiative established in 2005 for the purpose of promoting health awareness in Jordan and empowering Jordanians to adopt healthy lifestyle options. The society implements programs that are aligned with national health priorities and are designed to respond to local community needs. Role: She chairs the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS)’s annual Board of Trustees Meeting

Queen Rania Award for excellence in education: The award is a Queen Rania's initiative for the purpose of awarding educators and those in the education system for the excellence work they do for children and youth. Her Majesty is the chairperson of QRAEE’s board of trustees

Al-Aman fund for the future of orphan: The fund is an initiative of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development (QRF), Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans aims to provide young orphans with opportunities to obtain higher education or university degrees, attend community college, or receive vocational training.

National Council for Family affairs: The National Council for Family Affairs is a Queen Rania initiative that was established in 2001 with the aim of helping Jordanian families achieve a decent standard of stability and well-being. Her Majesty Queen Rania chaired the annual Board of Trustees meeting

Queen Rania Foundation: The Queen Rania Foundation, founded by Her Majesty in 2013, aims to be a leading regional resource and incubator for new and innovative ideas and initiatives in education.
