#IWD2022 Their Majesties meet with Jordanian women on the eve of #InternationalWomensDay

 On the eve of the world celebrating and honouring women on the International Women's Day, His Majesty King Abdullah II accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania hosted and received women leaders from the various governorates from around the Kingdom for lunch at the Al Husseiniya Place.


During the lunch meeting, His Majesty emphasized and highlighted the important role of Jordanian women in the society politically, economically, cultural and the importance of their participation in development and modernization efforts to which the kingdom walks

His Majesty also stressed the importance of women’s participation in Jordan’s ongoing development and modernisation efforts. He also expressed his confidence in and support for Jordanian women’s potential for innovation and excellence, commending their persistence to leave an indelible impact on their communities.





 

For her part, Queen Rania commended His Majesty’s support for Jordanian women and his belief in their capabilities to work and excel in several fields. Thanking the King for his keenness to create opportunities for all women, and for believing in them as an integral partner in the nation’s progress.

 

The Queen commended Jordanian women for excelling in various sectors, while also working tirelessly to build families and raise new generations.

 

The attendees expressed appreciation for Their Majesties’ continuous support to enable Jordanian women to contribute actively to Jordan’s advancement, and for their belief in women’s potential. They also reaffirmed their dedication to serving Jordan, and their keenness to capitalise on opportunities to enhance women’s role across the political, economic, social, and development-related fields.

She is wearing her Jordanian Thoub from Enma Al Ahmed. Her thoub was hand made and embroidered by artist in Jordan

She paired with a new bag from Dara Hamarneh which is the Baguette in Taupe colour. The bag was handmade with Pebbled calfskin leather shoulder bag in an elephant gray. For her shoes, Her Majesty maybe wearing her Jennifer Chamandi ‘Lorenzo’ Cream Suede And Elaph Pumps. Her pumps were custom made.
