On Monday February 13th, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Tabarbour's Al Nashmiyat Charitable Society for Women Empowerment, where she met with the board of directors and learned about their efforts to financially empower women in local communities.

Her Majesty met with the society's president, Amal Al Mawasleh, and the board of directors to examine past projects and long-term aspirations. Her Majesty also visited several of the society's facilities and workshops, including the kitchen, counseling room, and sewing and fabric-recycling facility, and viewed a range of products manufactured by the beneficiaries.

Al Nashmiyat Charitable Society for Women Empowerment, founded in 2018, aspires to promote the role of Jordanian women in their communities and across many industries through economic empowerment programs and workshops. Its goals include preparing Jordanian young for financial independence, supporting developmental and educational programs, providing financial and non-financial aid to impoverished families, and providing psychosocial support to children and adolescents.

Since its foundation, the club has spearheaded various projects, including a sewing workshop that trained 30 women. The organization has also developed 'Dalili,' an online counseling portal for students administered by 30 young men and women who have received psychosocial support training.

Furthermore, the group built 'Qalb Amman II,' a company development incubator with the goal of enhancing the employability and entrepreneurial abilities of youth. The group is also doing a fabric-recycling project with European Union financing, which is now educating a number of beneficiaries.

To broaden its activities, the society has formed many collaborations, including one with the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) to teach 90 women in needlework and provide them with the option to work from home for a year.

Aside from seminars, the group is responsible for a number of projects, such as academic support for Tawjihi students, distribution of food packages to impoverished homes, clothing, wheelchairs, and medical supplies to those in need, and help packages to Syrian refugees.

On February 6th, Her Majesty Queen Rania toured a newly built vocational training academy operated by the Community Centers Association (CCA) in Hai Nazzal where she announced that there will an increase in financial support for 100 of the most successful local projects implemented by the association

After weeks of searching thanks to our friend at jordanianroyals.tumblr.com, she is wearing an aubergine Sportmax Oxalis dress.
Sportmax's black silk Oxalis dress offers a feminine take on a shirt-style silhouette. It's cut in Italy to a voluminous shape that's cleverly cinched with waist-defining pleats and complete with decorative buttons. The side-hem slits ensure it flows beautifully.

This is a first for Her Majesty. Other royals who wear sportmax are HRH Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Sophie Countess of Wessex

Paired with her Salvatore Ferragamo Arezzo 85 black suede pump and what looks to be her Apple Watch Series 2 38mm Stainless Steel Case with Silver-Tone Milanese Loop with Fullmosa Yan Calf Leather Replacement Band/Strap
