They were briefed by Hala Majali of the Friends of Jordan Society on the kindergarten. The kindergarten was established in 2003.
Majali said 42 children are enrolled and receive free services, as well as textbooks and uniforms.

His Majesty issued directives to revamp the kindergarten’s playground to serve as a public park for Ghor Fifa residents and equip it with recreational units.

Princess Taghrid Institute for Training and Development General Director Aghadeer Jweihan informed Their Majesties that the institute currently provides 19 job opportunities to women in the area, with their products exported to Europe.
Jweihan said the project’s venue is leased, which is a limitation to expanding production and hiring more women from the local community. She added that work is underway to start constructing a new permanent building for the project.
The King instructed that the new venue be furnished with the latest equipment required, through royal initiatives, to support the project’s expansion and create more jobs.
His Majesty commended the development efforts of private sector, civil society, and non-governmental institutions to improve citizens’ living conditions, provide job opportunities for the local community, and curb unemployment and poverty.
