 On Tuesday March 26th, Their Royal HIghnesses Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa hosted an iftar for children from various Orphan care homes from across the Kingdom. The iftar was held at the Children's Museum in Amman.



This is a new tradition for the Crown Prince Couple with Crown Prince Hussein always spending time at various orphan care homes across the kingdom.



The Children Museum Jordan is a non-profit educational institution, launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2007. 

The couple is parent to a young one HRH Princess Iman bint Hussein

 On Wednesday March 26th Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted a group of female members of the Jordanian military and security agencies for Iftar at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman.



During the Iftar, Her Majesty relayed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings and well wishes to her guests, thanking them for their service to the country and their hard work in Jordan and abroad.




“One of the most beautiful things about Jordan is the relationship between civilians and members of the military. It is a natural bond, built on trust in and respect for the armed forces,” Her Majesty said.




While breaking the fast, Her Majesty heard from the women about their work and their family lives, and wished them prolonged and successful journeys in their service of Jordan.

On Monday March 17th, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted an Iftar banquet in Madaba governorate, accompanied by women who distinguished themselves in a variety of fields. 



She wished a blessed fast to those who mark Ramadan and Lent, highlighting Madaba's unique character describing it as a model of diversity, authenticity, and beauty, with a history spanning thousands of years.





 “Madaba’s iconic mosaics are more than just artifacts of this land’s history. They are also expressions of its present-day identity,” Queen Rania said. She noted that the governorate has been shaped by the generosity and warmth of its people, underscoring how men and women from different backgrounds have contributed to Madaba’s progress.

 On Wednesday March 12th, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted an Iftar banquet at Al Husseiniya Palace where she invited many accomplished youth, including volunteers, journalists, artists, startup owners, entrepreneurs, and beneficiaries of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans. 



She emphasized the importance of keeping pace with technology while maintaining moral and humanitarian values. 




The Queen praised the youth's efforts to remain at the forefront of their fields and praised their hard work and innovative thinking. 




She also reflected on the opportunities Ramadan offers for individuals to rethink their lives and become better people for themselves and those around them. The young men and women discussed their work and endeavors while breaking their fast.

 On Thursday March 6th, Her Majesty Queen Rania hosted women who have excelled in a range of disciplines from throughout the governorate gathered in Aqaba for an Iftar luncheon at the Prince Rashid Club.




Following the breaking of the fast, Queen Rania expressed her delight in the guests' achievements, wished them a great Ramadan, and thanked them for their essential services to their communities.





She praised Jordanian moms for being "the beating hearts" of their homes and stated that women play a crucial role in the household as well as in the job and labour market. On the occasion of International Women's Day, she also sent her warmest regards to Jordanian women.

The Holy Month of Ramadan 2023 began on March 22nd marking an entire month of observation by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief. For Muslims, Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community.

 On Wednesday April 27th, Her Majesty hosted a group of local women for Iftar at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts.



Her Majesty was welcome by HRH Princess Wijdan Al- Hashemi who is the National Gallery of Fine Arts' patron and was accompanied by HRH Princess Ghida Talal who sits on the Board of Trustee.




She was accompanied by some other female members of the royal family notably, HRH Princess Rym Al Ali, HRH Princess Basma bint Ali, HRH Princess Nejla bint Asem and HRH Princess Sima Abbas.
