 His Majesty King Abdullah II accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania departed Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan earlier in the day for a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

Today began their two day visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain were they earlier arrived at the Sakhir Air Base were they were welcome by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also prime minister of Bahrain.

An official welcoming ceremony is held for His Majesty King Abdullah II at Sakhir Palace where the national anthem of both kingdoms were played.

 Today November 16th began, The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall royal visit to Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Their Royal Highnesses arrived at Queen Alia International Airport where they were welcome by His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad on behalf of His Majesty the King before they departed for the Al Husseiniya Palace.

His Majesty King Abdullah II accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania and His Royal Highness Crown Prince El Hussein welcomed Their Royal Highnesses at Al Husseiniya Palace.

After which Their Majesties invited Their Royal Highnesses for lunch and talks in the reception hall.

 Their Royal Highness are on a two day visit to the Kingdom on behalf of the British Government where they will join in on: 

• Jordan’s centenary celebrations 
• Bi-lateral relations
• Climate change 
• Inter-faith dialogue
